The Solution
We designed and installed a low‑temperature heat pump system, carefully tailored to the property’s heat demand to ensure maximum efficiency and long-term performance.
✔ Complete removal of the old oil boiler and oil tank
✔ Installation and commissioning of a German-engineered Stiebel Eltron HPA‑O 10.2 Plus HC 400 heat pump
✔ Conversion of the hot water system to mains pressure, delivering improved shower performance and consistent hot water
✔ Radiators upsized and redesigned to operate efficiently at a 45°C flow temperature
✔ A full whole-house heat loss calculation, measuring 9.97 kW, to ensure the system was perfectly sized for the property

The Result
The home now benefits from:
- A highly efficient, low‑temperature heating system
- Improved comfort and hot water performance throughout the property
- Reduced reliance on fossil fuels
- A system designed to perform efficiently for years to come
Thanks to the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), the homeowner was also able to access £7,500 in government funding, significantly reducing the upfront cost of switching from oil to renewable heating.
