Heating Design & Eco Energy Assessments
Our expert team are here to source the best heating solution to suit you and your home.
Having a heating assessment of your home before you do anything else is a crucial exercise and almost as important as the installation itself. Here’s why.
Every home is different. It isn’t just about when it was built and where, it’s about the structure, the layout, the way you use your rooms, how you live in your home and the existing heating system. And more! You need an expert to assess all these and other factors.
This is where we come in. We’re happy to drop by for a quick chat and scope your requirements on a no-obligation basis.

02
Voucher
When you sign up for the BUS grant with us, our qualified assessors seek permission for electrical connection, make all the BUS grant applications & get you a £7.5k voucher – so you know it’s yours.
03
Redeem
Heating system commissioned. We then redeem your voucher & deduct £7.5K from your final invoice. You then get a handover pack, workmanship warranties & certificates.

Save up to £7,500
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) supports the decarbonisation of heat in buildings. It provides upfront capital grants to support the installation of heat pumps and biomass boilers in homes and non-domestic buildings in England and Wales.
So what does a heating assessment usually entail?
We’ll start by discussing with you what you want to achieve. This initial chat can often be quite revealing. You may think you know what you need – and who you live with may think differently! We’re here to help.
Together we need to stand back and get a clear idea of what your home really requires. We will always assess your home mindful of the quality of solutions, keeping costs down and ways to mitigate environmental impact.

Eco energy analysis & renewable heating options.
We can offer you a full, detailed, room by room heating design survey. With that you will get some eco-energy analysis and advice on your renewable heating options. Out of this will come 2-3 options for you to move to a renewable heating system, with a warm and comfortable home, that is both efficient and economical.
If becomes apparent that the right option for you is to improve your current heating system, we can do that too. Although we designed and installed our first renewable heating systems in 2016, we have been installing conventional boilers since 2010.

Quick & efficient assessments.
Our quick and efficient assessments, by a fully accredited and specialised assessor, usually include:
- full measurement – using laser technology, of size, volume, aspect, roofing, floors, windows, fireplaces and other heating systems and equipment.
- analysis and rating score – this number is a rating of the heat demand (as opposed to heat loss) of your home, taking into account any existing heating system.
- review of options – we’ll discuss these with you to see what you prefer and how you can keep the cost of any improvements down.
- report and design – once we’ve decided the way forward with you, we can, with your approval, plan and design a heating solution for you that is efficient, quiet and economical.

What about BUS and government grants?
The good news is that there are some currently available. The government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) can cover part of the cost of replacing fossil fuel heating systems (e.g. oil, gas, electric or liquified petroleum gas) with a heat pump or biomass boiler.
Further good news is that you don’t have to worry about assessing your eligibility, form-filling and grant applications – we’ll do all that for you.
Start your journey to cleaner, more efficient heating.
